What’s actually in Utah County tap water.
Utah County sits on some of the hardest water in the country. Across the homes we’ve installed in, the numbers come back in roughly the same range:
Hardness: 15-25 grains per gallon (EPA calls 7+ “very hard”)
TDS: 300-600 ppm depending on city and season
Chlorine + chloramines from municipal treatment
Iron, sulfur, and hydrogen sulfide on most well systems

We’ve installed across Orem, Lehi, American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Springville, Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain. Most people are surprised by what the local water is doing to their appliances and skin. A few aren’t. Either way, we tell you straight.
“I just wanted to know what we were drinking. They walked me through the numbers for our neighborhood, gave us a quote I could sit on, didn’t push anything. Two weeks later we called them back. Zero pressure the whole time.”

FAQs
Real questions from real homeowners
How hard is Utah County water exactly?
Most homes test between 15-25 grains per gallon (gpg). The EPA calls anything above 7 gpg “very hard.” Utah has some of the hardest water in the country — it’s why we built our system specifically for it.
Do I need a softener, a filter, or both?
Hardness is the big one in Utah County — that’s what causes spotty dishes, dry skin, and scale on faucets. A softener handles it. A filter removes chlorine, sediment, and taste/smell issues. Most homes in the area benefit from both, which is what our Complete Home System bundles.
What happens after I submit the form?
We text you within 5 minutes — usually faster. You tell us what you’re seeing in your home and we’ll send a real quote within 24 hours. No high-pressure sales call, no upsell game.
What if I’m not sure I need a system?
Tell us that on the form. If the symptoms you’re describing point at something other than a softener or filter, we’ll say so. Our reputation is built on people referring us six months later, not on closing today.
How fast can you actually install?
Most Utah County homes get scheduled within the same week of accepting the quote. Evenings and Saturdays available. The install itself is 3-5 hours.
