This policy explains what Honest Water Co (“Honest Water Co,” “we,” “us”) collects when you request a quote from us, how we use it, and who we share it with. It covers this website and the lead forms we run on Facebook, Instagram, and Google.
The short version: we collect what we need to give you a water quote and get in touch about it. We do not sell your personal information.
Information you give us
When you fill out a quote form on this site, we collect:
- Your first name
- Your phone number
- Your ZIP code and the service area you select
- The water problems you tell us you’re having
If you reach us through a lead form on Facebook, Instagram, or Google, that form collects your name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code, along with your answers about which service you’re interested in, your main water concern, and your timeline. Those answers are passed to us by the platform.
If you call, text, or email us, we keep a record of that conversation so we can follow up on it.
Information collected automatically
When you submit a form we also record your IP address, the page you submitted from, and any advertising identifiers attached to your visit — a Google click ID (gclid) and UTM campaign tags. We use these to understand which ads and pages produce quote requests.

How we use your information
- To contact you about the quote you requested and answer your questions
- To schedule a water test, consultation, or installation
- To route your request to the right local installer for your area
- To provide service, warranty, and support after an installation
- To measure which ads and landing pages are working
- To meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations
Calls and text messages
When you submit a quote request, you are asking us to contact you, and you agree that Honest Water Co and the local installer handling your area may call and text you at the number you provided — including through automated dialing or texting systems — about your request. Consent to these messages is not a condition of purchasing anything from us.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message from us. For help, reply HELP or contact us using the details below. You can ask us to stop calling at any time by telling us so, or by emailing hello@honestwaterco.com.
We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share information with
We share your information only in these cases:
- The local installer serving your area, so they can contact you and complete the work.
- Service providers that run our operations — our customer relationship management and messaging platform (HighLevel), our website host, and our phone and email providers. They may only use your information to provide services to us.
- Advertising platforms — Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google — which deliver our ads and report on conversions. See below.
- Financing partners, if you apply for financing and ask us to submit your application.
- When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for payment.
Advertising and analytics
We advertise on Meta and Google. When you interact with one of our ads or visit this site, those platforms may receive information about that interaction, including a hashed identifier, so they can measure conversions and show you relevant ads. This is governed by their own privacy policies:
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking them may affect how parts of this site work.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and customer records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal, warranty, tax, and accounting obligations. Our systems keep a lifetime warranty on installed equipment, so customer installation records are retained indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that’s wrong
- Delete your information, where we’re not required to keep it
- Stop contacting you
Email hello@honestwaterco.com or call (435) 681-3280 and we’ll take care of it. We may need to verify your identity first. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law, and we will honor those requests without discriminating against you for making them.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and we limit access to the people who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site and our services are meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we’ll post the updated version here and change the effective date at the top.
